Attorney Laurynn McGowen
We are thrilled to welcome Laurynn McGowen, a distinguished attorney, to Davis and Associates as the Managing Attorney for the Dallas area. Laurynn earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Arlington and her Juris Doctor from the Southern University Law Center.
Before law school, Laurynn gained valuable experience through internships at an Immigration and Family Law firm. She interned at a Criminal Defense firm and the Dallas Public Defender’s office during her legal education. Laurynn was an active member of the Women in Law and the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) at the Southern University Law Center. She also participated in various legal clinics, gaining practical experience in Family Law, Immigration, Criminal Law, and Juvenile Law.
In 2021, Laurynn returned to Dallas, Texas, her hometown, after working at a reputable criminal defense law firm in Fort Worth, Texas. There, she gained extensive courtroom experience, representing defendants in criminal cases and developing a thorough understanding of the judicial process.
At Davis & Associates, Laurynn brings her vast legal knowledge and courtroom experience to Family Law, applying a compassionate and efficient approach. Attorney Brendan Davis
Brendan Davis completed his undergraduate studies in Political Science at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Miami School of Law. With extensive experience managing a prominent consumer law firm across various regions, Brendan now applies his knowledge and skills to his practice, focusing on protecting and enhancing his clients’ futures.
